Jennifer Lynch

Yin Yoga Instructor

Biography

Hello!  My name is Jennifer Lynch. I’m an artist, belly dancer in-training, a Recreation Therapist, and water enthusiast.  I have been teaching various forms of life saving, first aid, and aquatics for over 20 years.  I came to yoga involuntarily about 15 years ago when I was diagnosed with a bladder disease.  I have been an athlete all my life, but when I was diagnosed, I was told I could no longer do what I normally would do to stay in shape.  My physical therapist (also a yoga instructor) introduced me to yoga during our therapy sessions.  From there, I discovered hot yoga, which increased my flexibility tremendously.  I haven’t looked back.  Yoga has been a part of my life ever since.
As a student of yoga (yogi), I’ve deepened my practice over the years and decided to share what I have learned and continue to learn with others.  I received my 200 hr Teacher certification in Aug. 2023 and specialize in Yin, Flow classes and working with various age groups.  I’m hoping my personal growth, setbacks and triumphs can be used by others as a reference for how they can start/continue whatever journey they may be on.
